NK'MIP Canyon Desert Golf Course is one of the the newest additions to the south Okanagan's golfing experience. This $3,000,000 expansion to the old Cherry Grove Golf Course will surprise you. The desert theme of the new golf course and clubhouse blends in beautifully to the native surroundings.

This easily walked par 72 course is full of surprises. Actually four courses in one (forward, mid, back and championship tees) successful play on some holes calls for a discerning eye and a steady hand. The par 5, 602-yard 15th hole nicknamed the Chief has won more than a few battles with a ball that lacked stamina at the crucial moment, while the deceptive, par 4, 362-yard #4 has players scoring either a birdie or a double bogey if the ball is not in place.

With over 2000 hours of sunshine beaming down on Nk’Mip Canyon annually, this Course is a boon on every golfer who believes a day not spent swinging a club is a day not living up to its potential. During the peak summer season, the pro shop opens at 6:30a.m., which affords about 15 hours of playing time. Spend some of it on the three full- length practice holes, or at the driving range with 18 covered stalls and five target greens.
